Edition 2 : When Direction Becomes Non-Negotiable

Yes, you are a leader! A strong one at that!
You decide the course of action your team takes. You decide the course your organization follows.
There comes a point when reflection stops and transitions into a decision. The direction then becomes firm inside you. There is a shift. You can feel it.
Strong leaders recognize this moment. The moment when the direction you want to head toward is no longer optional. The moment when alignment matters more than approval.
This is a point of clarity, not ego, not pride. A point of courage not confusion and compromise.
A point that reflects who you are becoming, not who you were trying to be.
But often many leaders hesitate here.
Not because the direction is not clear but because this direction demands steadiness. They question their ability to move ahead when support feels uneven.
But this moment demands your grounding.
This is where your full presence matters. This is where you need to remind yourself of who you are. This is the point you stop adjusting yourself to fit other’s expectations that no longer match your path, knowing that this shift can accelerate your growth.
Leadership Practice – The standard you will hold
This week, identify one area where your direction has become clear.
Ask yourself:
“What is the standard I will hold for myself here from now?”
Keep that standard visible in your decisions. Integrity grows when you hold on to boundaries that matter.
Move from alignment, not urgency.
Stand firm in the direction you have chosen.
